Rick Ross looking to open his next WingStop location in Metro-Detroit neighborhood

Maybach Music Groups CEO and WingStop franchisee Rick Ross is planning to open another location soon in an area unlike those of his current restaurants. The city of Inkster which is 20 minutes west of Detroit and 5 minutes from the Detroit-Metro Airport may soon be the home of WingStop if Rick Ross can get his hands on the land. With less than 30,000 residents the predominately black city is has a range of fish and chicken restaurants such as Moe’s, NuWave, Fishermen’s Net & Captain Jays.

For those who don’t remember rapper during a recent visit to Detroit, Snoop Dogg made a claimed that one of those restaurants in the best in the state via a pic posted to Instagram. Rick Ross is looking to get a piece of the action. Inkster only has one fast food restaurant within the 6 square mile city limits which is a McDonald’s on the western border.

Mr. Ross has been very successful with his restaurants with the rapper in control of over 30 different restaurant locations.

Word is Rick Ross plans on opening this new location on the very popular Michigan Ave, which flows thru the heart of the city. I’m familiar with the area it would be a great location. Another benefit WingStop could enjoy is the fact that there is a black owned restaurant pickup & delivery service, DINERUN operating in the area as well.
