Ohio woman tried to return million dollar Powerball winner involved in robbery

Toledo, Ohio — A 39 year old mother of 4 entered into a Toledo liqour store looking to cash in on her million dollar Powerball ticket. She matched the first 5 numbers in the exact order they dropped during drawing. The woman who wishes to remain anonymous told officers she was very excited, couldn’t sleep so I decided it would be good idea to go cash ticket in immediately. After a 10 minute drive to the closes 24 hour liquor store she still decides to enter into the building at 2AM to claim her million dollar prize. Did she really think she would walk out of this store with 1 million dollars cash?

This is one lucky lady. She hands her winning ticket to the clerk who laughs in her face after telling her jokingly if this would have been jackpot winner I would have took off with it. He provides the winner with the information she needed to claim ticket with State of Ohio also giving her very valuable advice like signing the ticket. The clerk told local officers as the woman began to put ticket back in her purse he noticed 4 men sitting outside store so he tells woman to put ticket in her pocket. 30 seconds later 2 mask men enter the store taking all the cash and the purse belonging to the woman.

Very lucky to still walk away with the winning ticket. The woman says she is going to give the clerk 100K. Thanks to him she will soon be a millionaire.
